Do you love it or hate it?
I’m somewhere in the middle with my feelings on a MONDAY. Once upon a time, I dreaded Mondays…Sunday afternoon would come and that dreaded feeling would creep into my head and my stomach and anxiety spread over my entire body and mind. Ugh!
Let me share with you my favourite quick and simple exercise to calm anxiety and slow down your heartbeat.
- Close down your eyes.
- Take a slow nose breath in for the count of 4.
- Hold for a count of 4 and while holding, bare down as if you are stifling a sneeze (or having a poo!).
- Slow, gentle nose breathe out for the count of 4.
- Repeat.
